I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PitchBook (Seattle, WA) in Jul 2019
Interview
Pitchbook appears to be a fun and young work environment but lacks communication and compensation. I personally had a total of 3 phone interviews and 2 onsite interviews that consisted of meeting with 4 different people in each. Our initial phone discussions were in late May and the process took about 2.5 months start to finish.
The company seems fun, however appears to lack internal communication. I received an offer for this position and asked for 1 week to review as I was in the final rounds of interviewing with other organizations. The recruiter and I discussed this and PitchBook agreed to wait the week for my decision. On Wednesday of that week a different PB employee sent me an email saying they assumed I declined the offer because I had not got back to them. There were other instances throughout the process where it appeared disorganized, for example twice I was told I would have a followup meeting after the onsite's with the same recruiter to review and discuss. Both times the recruiter did not show up to those meetings and a different employee attended whom was not familiar with the process.
Aside from the interview process, PitchBook has great vision and I believe they will continue to grow and be successful. The offer for this position was not competitive.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PitchBook (London, England)
Interview
Easy, four steps. Recruiter call, team call, second team call and mock call. Relatively straightforward / market standard. Would recommend to anyone. They've asked for 30 words here so here's some more.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PitchBook in Sep 2022
Interview
I was recruited by Pitchbook for this position and took the first interview. My jaw physically dropped when I found out that the starting salary is $50k for this position and OTE is $85k. I was making $50k right out of college as an SDR. Any associate level position should be making $65k or more in this economy. I quickly declined any further interviews. That being said, this first round was fairly standard and they did ask questions like “what are the three most important things you value when choosing your next role or company”, which I thought was considerate.

Call from recruiter that I passed, face to face with the Manager , team lead and other Snr members.
I enjoyed the experience but accept their reasoning for not offering. I'd def apply again as they are growing a lot. Everyone I met was friendly and professional. Good offices and good pay.
