Standard 3 rounds ( 1x recruiter screen and 2x 1:1 interviews).
The company comes across as old school and behind the times in terms of tech/project delivery. The recruiter screen was fine but I felt like they were all over the place and shared a bit too much about how much work they're juggling in their role (red flag).
The next interview was with the person who this role would report in to and the interviewer just seemed old school. Asked those "tell me about a time when" questions, and had pretty low energy over all. Definitely didn't make me excited about the potential of having to report in to them.
I can't remember the title of the final person I interviewed with but I don't think I've ever interviewed with someone that's come off that rude. They just seemed absolutely miserable with their job and life, and came across as though they were aggressively challenging me ('aggressive' for an interview) vs. opening the door for communication about my experience and how that would fit into the organization.
TBH, I knew after I spoke with the recruiter that I wouldn't want to work here but it's good interview practice so I stayed with it.
I didn't get an offer in the end -- lol which is 100% fine. This was easily one of the most unpleasant interview experiences I've had.
