I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Premium Retail Services (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2014
Interview
Very disjointed process. I got a call on a Friday to set up a phone screen on Monday. The caller on Friday told me that I will need to be ready to have a Sales Video Presentation uploaded to You Tube for after the phone screen process; which I did. During my call on Monday, the rep from PRS basicallly said "Based on your zip code, I believe you live outside of the acceptable radius our client is looking for to service these stores." That info in addition to answering a simple question regarding my salary expectations could have save me a lot of time.

Question 1
Unexpected was that there was no due dilligence on their part.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Premium Retail Services
Interview
The interview process is long and the company is unprofessional. Started with a phone interview that was suppose to "prequalify" my candidacy. I moved onto round 2 which was another phone screen, I had to submit a training video, and then moved onto the third round which was a final phone screen with the hiring manager. I was offered the job that same day. I asked for some time to think about the presented offer and they only gave me four days to make a decision. I asked for a written offer and never received it. I tried to negotiate the offer and it was reengaged by the company; stating I was too qualified for the role. So basically this company likes to waste your time and hope they can get highly qualified individuals into entry level paid positions.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Premium Retail Services (Lodi, CA) in Apr 2015
Interview
Video sales presentation. Given basic script to train and sell a particular product. The presentation was video'd and submitted. The entire presentation was to be between one and two minutes. The product that I presented/trained/sold was a universal TV remote. Actually, it was fairly easy and a lot of fun since I've spent close to 30 years in home theater selling to and supporting major consumer electronics retailers at every level throughout the US and Canada.
