In interviewed for procore technologies about a year ago, and I can say it has been the worst interview experience in my life. After the phone screen interview by HR, which was short and simple, I was interviewed by an SDR manager via Phone call as well, interviewed consisted in regular interview scenario questions, along with personal info to get to know me. Everything was normal, and after that I was asked to come in for a 3-4 hours interview session with different managers at the Austin office, the interview process consisted in being in a conference room doing 30 min interviews one by one with different managers whom all asked the same questions, on top of that I did another onsite zoom interview with the same manager I talked to over the phone before, and guess what, he asked the SAME questions as his first interview.
Long repetitive day, but I thought it was worth it, trying to be positive. Long story short, after that I was asked to do TWO more interviews via zoom, when asked if there was something holding the process I was told I was GREAT, after this whole 3 week process, I received a generic email by HR letting me know I was nos selected for the role. I'm not doing this review because I was not selected, but after the anger and frustration of wasting so much time, and preparation for this interview process, I was just a “Generic email” worth person to them, not even a phone call with feedback?? if that is the way they treat potential prospects, I do not want to know how they treat their employees. After 3 weeks I had to chose between two great companies that treated me with respect, and dignity, and I just want to express this so other people that are thinking about applying for procore, to really think about what they really want from a company.
