      Communications Manager Interview

      Aug 9, 2013
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Manila, Manila
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Procter & Gamble (Manila, Manila) in Jun 2013

      Interview

I had initially applied online. It was for a different position, and after going through their online assessment (end March) and in-person reasoning test (early April), I didn't hear back from them. After having an insider friend follow up, I was forwarded to the Communications department. I was called by one of their receptionists for a series of interviews (mid June) the next day. The first that day was someone from Marketing, and consisted only of behavioral questions. The second was the Communications country director, who did not ask any behavioral questions, and instead just asked very casual questions to get to know me better: he asked about my university, my previous work, my motivations for applying for this specific function, and if I really wanted it. Third, I was forwarded to the senior Communications Manager, who the position would report to. She asked more standard behavioral questions, one question that tested my Communications-mindedness, and one analytical thinking question. After each interview, I was allowed to asked them each questions. In contrast with what I'd heard about P&G-ers, all three interviewers were very nice and warm, without a hint of arrogance. But that could've just been because it was an interview.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Definitely the analytical thinking question. It was "How would you deduce/calculate the number of people who pass through the airport in a day?"
      Answer question
