Interview
Its a group interview, they evaluate you through a number of activities. Its fun and once you start not as intimidating as you might think at first. They sit you down with all the candidates and have a few employees sit in as well aside from management. They start by introducing themselves and talking about the company so by the time the interview process begins you are quite comfortable.

How would you react to a specific type of customer?
They could only offer me a part time position at 8 hours a week. It was a joke, they should not have advertised that they were hiring if they barely had any hours available.
Over online Hirevue sent email immediately. Took about 15 minutes. a few retires, but very much like an interview without the actual human.

Tell us about yourself and why you would like to work for REI?
I walked in and the manager asked me a few questions right there. He said they had just got done a round of hiring, but I gave him my name and phone number. He asked about work experience, what I was doing now (college, etc.), and about my love for the outdoors.
