I applied online and received a typical bounce back thank you email. Surprisingly, according to the timeline in the email, I received a call from the recruiter 2 days later.
This conversation uncovered that I was applying for a position I was over qualified for. Thankfully, the recruiter sent me the information for the Paid Search role and another phone interview was scheduled.
This second conversation focused on my previous experience with paid search and delved more into the expectations of the role. At the end of the conversation, the recruiter informed me I would be contacted within 2-3 days for an update.
Once again, the timeline was adhered to and I was emailed an invitation for an in person interview. The recruiter gave me a tour of the facility and then we sat with a Paid Search manager. After that interview, I met with the head of HR for a few minutes to discuss company culture. Overall the entire interview process took an hour and a half.
I was told a decision would be made within a week and that I would be updated. While the timeline did go over the 7 days, the recruiter was very quick to assure me the process was ongoing and that she would be in contact.
