I submitted my resume and heard back from their hiring dept. very quickly. The woman I emailed with seemed really nice and excited to have me as an applicant for the position. We set up a time for a phone interview via their internal calendar system.
I prepared extensively for the interview with a range of questions and made sure to study up on the experiences of other applicants here on glassdoor.
When the woman called me for the interview I was immediately shocked by her lack of professionalism and how quickly she chose to not just undermine my experience but blatantly attempt to throw me off-course by insulting my resume and my character. I thought it was really bizarre since my experience perfectly matched the job description and I had expected the interview to go really well. She kept saying "can I be candid?" which I thought was strange. She was very critical of the fact that I've had 3 jobs in a row that range in length from 1 year to 2.5 years. She seemed to think this made me unfit. I explained that I'd yet to find a company that really worked for me long-term and that I had never left a company without having contributed valuable systems/efficiencies/vendors etc. that they would continue to benefit from. I later found out on her Linkedin that she's only been with the company for 8 months and before that had been at another company for 7 months. Knowing this I'm even more shocked at how rude she was. She didn't ask me many questions and at the end of the interview she was flustered and said she couldn't think of anything else to say. She didn't ask if I had any questions.
