The application process was relatively straightforward. However, the response time was delayed, and I was invited to a Quick Preliminary interview through the recruitment team.
The positive aspect was that I could schedule the interview at my convenience. However, during the interview, the recruiter did not turn on her camera, leaving me to speak to a picture. Despite her acknowledgment of having read my CV, she later asked redundant questions about my experience as a Team Leader and Manager, which were clearly outlined in my resume.
After just 5 minutes into the interview, I was informed that she believes that I was not a good fit due to a perceived lack of Compliance Management experience, Even though my CV clearly reflects relevant qualifications and 15 years of experience in both (Compliance and Management).
This raises concerns about the fairness of the process, and it appears that the decision might have been predetermined. It felt like a waste of time, and receiving a seemingly insincere rejection is disappointing from a mindfulness standpoint, especially when I was never given a fair chance to showcase my suitability for the role
