Was contacted about a week after applying online to schedule an interview with the engineering manager. The phone call was about 45 min, non-technical, mainly talking about my previous experience and if Remitly seemed like a good fit. Was given the choice between a take-home project vs live coding technical round. I choose a take-home project which was pretty standard, about 5 hours work. After about two weeks after submitting my project (much longer than most other companies have taken in my experience), I was informed I would be continuing to the onsite. Unfortunately, after given my availability, the coordinator completely ghosted me for two weeks. After two weeks the coordinator reached out again asking for my updated availability without even apologizing for completely dropping the ball earlier. I decided to give them a second chance and responded. However, to this day I still have yet to hear back from them. This is by far the worst interview experience I've ever had, and a huge waste of my time/efforts. Not sure what exactly is going on, but this level of unprofessionalism makes me feel like a dodged a bullet.
Overall, apply with your own risk. It may just end up being a complete waste of your time.
