I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at RingCentral (New York, NY)
Interview
Met with HR and had wonderful interview. Quick and easy setup.
2nd interview with direct manager was rescheduled a couple of times. Conversation was good but scattered. No direct information about position requirements. No specific questions were asked regarding my qualifications

I spent hours going through the interview process and at the end got ghosted. Not a great experience spending hours meeting multiple people and not even been shown the courtesy of getting an update or feedback.

Question 1
The focus was more to know your background and if it aligns with the transformation that the company is going through.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RingCentral (Denver, CO) in Oct 2018
Interview
The process with the recruiter was long. She would send emails after 10PM, she missed my first screening entirely and emailed later to reschedule. She was then 15 minutes late for the next screening and cut the call short as a result.
I was brought onsite for an interview. I interviewed with 5 people total, 2 in person and 3 remotely. This was a long and tiring day but nothing too crazy came up during the interview question wise.
The only thing that really made this a negative experience was that while I was doing the in person interview, one of the women was on their phone during my interview. She kept picking it up and typing on it.. right in front of me. She said she was recently promoted so I guess she is not used to treating others in a professional manner. After this experience it was no surprise to me that I did not get the position. I also am I strong believer that if someone takes the time to come in and interview with 5 people, they deserve some personalized follow up on why they didn't get the position. RingCentral doesn't have these values and just sent the generic email about 2 weeks after the interview.
