I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at RingCentral in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied online and they called me for a phone interview within 12 hours of receipt of my application. The process was standard. I let them know I was top producer of my team for the past 6 years. I explained to them that I was a recent victim of a major merger in the technology sector where about a million people were laid off when my company was bought out by Dell. They saw this as a weakness and stated "you have had a bit of bad luck"and told me i wouldn't be a fit. I found it very unprofessional that they weren't aware of the buyout when the company that was bought out was across them and stated "I had a bit of bad luck" being why I want qualified. Either that or I was overqualified because most businesses understand that these things happen.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at RingCentral (Denver, CO) in May 2023
Interview
My resume was submitted by a Director at RingCentral. I had all the required skills for the job, yet I never received an email or phone call for an interview. Recruiters seem lazy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Nothing. They couldn't even be bothered to write an email.
Good interview process. Completed 3 stages. Position was ultimately pushed to another quarter. They were respectful of my time and communicated quickly. I do hope to explore future opportunities with them at a later date.
Lots of back and forth with corporate recruiter and multiple interviews back to back with sales leadership and team. The longest interview process I have ever experienced. The process was grueling.
