Very long process that totaled 7 interviews all with different people. Most interviews felt pretty dry as they read from a script of questions the entire time so I never felt like I actually got to know most of the people I spoke to. No feedback was able to be provided after the interview process.

Question 1
Most questions were hypothetical situations to see how you would react to certain workplace scenarios (describe a time where you worked with a difficult employee, describe a time where you overcame a challenge on a project, etc).
Friendly but weirdly difficult - interviewer kept a lot of information to themselves about requirements for the job and kept high level. Friendly but weirdly difficult - interviewer kept a lot of information to themselves about requirements for the job and kept high level.

Question 1
Flexibility in shows and issues that come up during those situations
Too extreme for an initial intro! Annoying interview questions for over 90 minutes. Boring interviewer for such a dynamic company. Even though I kicked butt during the interview, and received the full rundown on next steps, not one follow-up note. Such a waste of time for them and me!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Riot Games (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2024
Interview
6 interviews total--
First call is with the recruiter who will pass you off to another recruiter. Most of my first calls with Riot for other roles have gone well, but this one was rather cold. First actual interview is with the hiring manager for the position, was an absolute delight. (Also was considered a cultural interview, the "vibe check".) Second interview was with another manager who checked for technical expertise, but they don't go too in-depth. The next stage is four interviews with several different people. (Two cultural, one with someone on the team, another with a higher up from a different department, and two technical, someone from the team again and another manager from a partnering team.) All were fascinating conversations, but gave zero to no feedback. All questions are asking for a STAR method answer. Got rejected in final rounds with an automated email and no option to ask for feedback or even thank the recruiter. Not the most welcoming experience, but was educational
