First was a phone interview which basically felt like the company was trying to sell me on the job, it almost sounded too good to be true.
After that was the most pointless and horrible assessment any job has ever asked me to do. Part of the assessment was standard but pointless personality assessment stuff. The other part of the assessment was having to solve complex logic and math problems in 30 seconds. I am pretty sure that no part of a Sales job requires me to solve complex logic and math problems in 30 seconds. It felt like they added this part in as a way to filter candidates out, and I think the only way people can pass this assessment is with lucky guesses since no one can do complex math and logic problems that fast. After the assessment, I received a generic denial letter with no useful info, and I found that insulting after doing their assessment which did absolutely nothing to determine how good of a Sales rep I would be.
From this assessment and how heavily the recruiter was trying to sell me on working for Roadrunner, I would say this company is likely one to avoid.
