There were a total of 5 interview rounds, all well-structured and conducted professionally. The rounds included DSA, System Design, Hiring Manager, Problem Solving (Includes LLD+ DSA), Director Round.
All rounds went quite well. I was able to answer all the questions clearly and confidently. After completing all the rounds, the HR shared positive feedback from three of them, indicating a strong performance. However, they mentioned that the final decision was on hold due to a pending review from the hiring manager.
Despite multiple follow-ups over the next three weeks, I eventually received a rejection email with no explanation or feedback. I reached out to HR multiple times for clarity, but received no response. Later, I was informed informally that the team was looking for someone with more years of experience.
If experience was a key deciding factor, it should have been considered before proceeding with the interview process. My experience was clearly stated in the resume. Such decisions after multiple rounds not only waste the company’s time but also the candidate’s time, effort, and emotional investment.
