During my recorded video interview with Rolls-Royce, the process involved answering a set of questions while recording myself speaking directly to the camera. Although I found the absence of direct interaction with an interviewer to be somewhat challenging, I adapted to the format and focused on articulating my responses clearly and confidently.

one complete day of assessment centre from morning till evening.One hour competency based interview followed by lunch. Then one hour technical interview, last exercise of the day was a group exercise where we had to work in teams of 5 members. Also got an opportunity to talk with current graduates. They usually call and tell you about the interview results after the assessment day with a really good feedback, regardless of the result.q

Group activity - Using Lego mindstorm robot to cross a river and build a bridge
(Be a leader even if there are many leaders in the group, try to inspire others, put yourself forward to take on a role like be the time keeper, read out the instructions out load to all your group members, assign tasks to everyone in the team, contribute as much as you could in all of the sections.
Try to get everyone listen to your ideas and don’t back out.
Be prepared for the technical questions (most important one)
Learn deep about the manufacturing process of rolls Royce in making engine parts ( forging, grinding, welding etc)
Learn about NDT
manufacturing processes ( FMEA, six sigma, lean manufacturing etc)
They ask you indirect questions as they want you to say everything on point
And general competency and behavioural questions
Challenge facing the industry, share price, how would you bring it up
Manufacturing technologies and how would you exploit new technologies
