I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2012
Interview
I applied online and got a call about 2 weeks later. I got a phone call saying they would like to interview me for the assistant buyer intern position, I was scheduled to come in the following week. I was interviewed by one lady in a small office 1:1. I was mostly asked things about school and my classes. The questions seemed to try and get you to tell how your classes could help you in the internship.
inpersonal, recruiter seemed like she did not want to be there, loud and noisy background. QUick interview boring behavioral questions. We reviewed my resume. Thats reall all. Werid skills tests and excel tests.

Interview
I went through and introduction interview, and was told that the main team lead was on vacation, but would go through formal interviews once they got back. I sent multiple emails in the coming month, even just to get an official NO. The job is still posted and I have never been contacted again.

Question 1
Why do you think you would be a good fit for this role?
The interview went ok but they never closed the loop with me/didn't tell me that they weren't going to proceed with me as a candidate. She asked me about the salary I wanted and seemed taken aback by what I asked for even though I don't think it was unreasonable.
