I applied online. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Kyle, TX) in Apr 2014
Interview
They sit you down, introduce yourself, give them your availability, and the questions begin. The store manager asked about my past jobs and why I thought I'd like to work at ross, what I could contribute, and what I work best doing, or am most comfortable doing.
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
