I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2018
Interview
Quick and easy. One on one interview in the back room that only took 15 minutes. The manager mostly asked me questions about my schedule and how flexible I am with my hours. I was in school at the time so I didn’t have an open schedule like they wanted. Nonetheless I still got a job offer but declined because I knew scheduling would be a problem in the future.
The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations
Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
I was interviewed over the phone and than asked to come in person. So I could meet the team and talk to them. It wasn't too hard but it was kind of a waste as I didn't get a call back.
