I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Reno, NV) in Jun 2012
Interview
I applied for the job 3 months prior to receiving a phone call to have an interview. When I arrived, the assistant manager led me to her office and began asking basic interview questions. Anyone with a bit of common sense can land this job. It's not difficult. After the interview, she showed me around the store. The next day, I received a call to attend orientation the following week.
It was a group interview, but very easy, received the offer almost right away after verifying I'd be able to complete the required tasks. Manager was very kind, but clear and concise on requirements. Took about 20 minutes

Interview
Called in for interview pretty quickly. It’s not hard at all, especially if you’ve worked in retail before. Probably received a call back within 2 days after applying. Went in for interview & was told on the spot that i got the job.
The process was smooth. The location I worked at was good. They were very flexible with my schedule since I was still in college. Communication is good. Overall, good experience.
