I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Long Beach, CA) in May 2023
Interview
Applied to multiple locations in my area. They respond about a month later with a phone call. I was away from my phone and unavailable at the precise moment of the call. The person left no voicemail and never called back... Who does that? Do I really only deserved one chance? Is your hiring process and policies really that unforgiving? I guess I was just supposed to wait by the phone for an entire month. Good job showing respect and the benefit of the doubt to the job applicant.

Question 1
You just missed my call and I left you no way to contact me at your earliest convenience. What do you do?
It was a group interview, but very easy, received the offer almost right away after verifying I'd be able to complete the required tasks. Manager was very kind, but clear and concise on requirements. Took about 20 minutes
I applied online. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Concord, NC) in Jan 2026
Interview
Called in for interview pretty quickly. It’s not hard at all, especially if you’ve worked in retail before. Probably received a call back within 2 days after applying. Went in for interview & was told on the spot that i got the job.
The process was smooth. The location I worked at was good. They were very flexible with my schedule since I was still in college. Communication is good. Overall, good experience.
