There is generally a call with a recruiter, then two hour long calls with some stake holders for the position. After that there is a loop of interviews.
It is 4 hours of panel interviews in an uncomfortably small conference room that has little to no ventilation. (Spokane office)
The panels will consist of local team members or people via google hangouts.
Very similar situational questions will be asked by each panel, and they will be repeats of what you answered in your phone interview.
The overall process is slow to move forward, and inconsiderate to people’s time.
On the flip side it is understandable that you want the right person for the position and culture so it is worth the gauntlet for them, but is it worth the gauntlet for you being a position that pays under $40k a year.
