I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
Genuinely great experience, and I wanted to share how positive the interview experience was from start to finish. The process felt thoughtful, well-organised, and (rarely for interviewing) genuinely human.
A special shoutout to Amy, the internal recruiter who supported me throughout — her responsiveness, clarity, and encouragement made a huge difference, and it honestly felt like she was in my corner the whole way. The communication was consistent, expectations were clear, and every interaction left me more excited about the company and the people.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Screener Interview with Recruiter
Interview with Sales Manager: STAR questions on Prospecting, MEDDICC and Stakeholder managment
Discovery Call Role-Play with Manager: Standard Role play discovery; have questions ready and practice beforehand, understand the product well from the website to show research. Structure on the call is important. use TED questions to make sure you QUANTIFY impact.
Final Director Interview: Mine was very chilled, mainly about STAR around time I got feedback how I handled it, my approach to prospecting and sales in general. There is a focus on the Challanger Mindset (I bought the book and read it), Customer Success going against management. He likes to see you are coahable, feedback oriented and curious about the product. Samsara is highly based on feedback and improving so need to be collaborative and curious self directed learner.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Interviews with recruitment, hiring manager and department director. Then a role play.
The interview process was quite insightful. They want you to bring some quite specific skills over with you around qualification and discovery
I applied online. I interviewed at Samsara in Dec 2025
Interview
This was the worst interview experience I’ve ever had. After being pushed quickly through 5 rounds of interviews and nothing but positive feedback I was told they would have a decision in one week I had a start date the month after. They completely ghosted me for more than a month then I got an an automated rejection email. The recruiter would text and call me to check in during the process and never heard from her after that. The sales managers that interviewed me seemed like very mediocre sales people that have never managed anyone and had no real insight into the position.
