First you have an interview with HR, no questions about the role. Here you talk about yourself, your experience and then the HR person decides whether you move forward to the next step or not. I had asked him about the perks of the company, he said he'd send them to me via email and he never did.
I passed the first filter and then got interviewed by the manager of the team. He was lovely, explained the role to me, asked about my experience.
I didn't hear back from Samsara for about a week or two, I think I wasn't the top candidate for them (I'm guessing) but then they seemed to move me to the next stage which consisted of a task, they gave me a prompt and 24 hours to send it complete. The HR person did not bother to ask for my availability for this task, and sent it when I was out of town, he then told me I could send it within 48 hours instead of 24 hrs but I had my next 4 days booked out for another task for another job interview.
He (HR) ghosted me and a few days later I got my rejection email.
The whole experience would've been positive if it hadn't been made worse by the HR guy, this kind of gave me a bad representation of the company and it felt right to not stay within the process.
