The hiring process felt disorganised and, at times, condescending. The talent team set very high expectations for candidates, but didn’t seem to hold themselves to the same standard in terms of preparation or professionalism.
It is also noticeable that the same roles keep being advertised, which suggests there may be ongoing issues with the hiring approach and internal standards. That raises questions about how candidates are being assessed and how effective the process really is.
Overall, a more accountable and capable talent team, with a genuine focus on process and candidate experience, would make a big difference to both credibility and hiring outcomes.

Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Samsara (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2018
Interview
I was contacted by an internal recruiter. I then spoke with the hiring manager for 30 minutes, which was followed by an onsite interview (1.5 hours) and a follow-up phone interview with a VP. The interview process was incredibly smooth and quick (about 1 week in total). The recruiter kept me informed throughout the process and everyone was extremely welcoming & informative during my onsite interview.
