I've interviewed at several IOT companies and unfortunately Samsara's was by far the worst.
Please have the decency to say no. Don't just leave the interviewee with no answer. Even with follow up emails, I've heard no word back. No company is that busy.
I wasn't given the time of day. If you 'gotta run' maybe reschedule the interview for when you actually have time to listen. I felt like I answered many questions, and then later was asked those same questions again, as though the interviewer was just going down a list and not actually paying attention to what I was saying.
You just took someone who was very excited about the product, and turned them into someone who lost respect for the company, and will likely not ever use this product or refer the company in any means.
Get off your high horse and be respectful to people. Your actions speak louder than you (lack) of words.
In Sanskrit, "Samsara" is the eternal cycle of life and rebirth. Maybe in my next life I will hear a response back.
