Contrary to the glowing reviews penned by their indoctrinated employees, Samsara is still more speculative hype coming out of SV that is riding off (1) the past of their founders (i.e. Meraki), (2) association with a celebrity-status VC (i.e. Andreesen Horowitz), and (3) IoT buzzword technology fit for a TechCrunch feature. The application process included a brief call with a dimwitted recruiter, another brief call with an MBA-adorned, inaccessible director (from among the star-studded, OG Meraki class of VPs and directors), and a homework assignment that felt rooted in actual problems that they were trying to solve (i.e. free labor). I think there would've been an all-day, in-person interview if I continued on in the process. All in all, a waste of time for a company quickly going nowhere. For all the celebration of diversity, I was also turned off by the all-Caucasian sales force.

Question 1
What is the projected revenue contribution of a new ADR in the first quarter after hire, second, third, and fourth quarter?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara (Ciudad de Mexico) in Mar 2025
Interview
Interviewer wasn't that engaged during the call, I expected to discuss a little more about the role and area. The recruiter though, was very warm and professional she explained everything in detail (steps in the interview process, position, salary, etc) and was very responsive.
