I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
Applied online and a recruiter reached out the next day for a screening. After had another phone screening with the hiring manager where he invited me to an onsite and send me a case study. The first asked me a lot of questions on processes and sampling and how I would do it to their product. The questions included asking for specifics and references for values. It seemed like the engineer interviewing me himself did not have an answer to the question but was just looking for more information on industry standards. He took a lot of notes on processes and procedure. Got a call a few days later letting me know they are not going to proceed. The req is still up months later so feel like they are just interviewing people to get information on how to set up their processes.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Samsara
Interview
Tedious, long, required a demo that I did not feel was reviewed adequately. I did not feel like follow up was timely, and that they had an internal candidate in mind.
