I received an email to choose a date to do a phone interview. Once they called me for the phone interview the girl who was on the phone was barely speaking up so I couldn't hear her well. First thing she had asked me if I was willing to move to California for the job and I had told her that would be no issue if the right opportunity came along. Not sure if she was just turned off because I didn't live in California but after she asked that she did not sound interested in interviewing me. She didn't ask me anything regarding my work experience and only told me things about the company and what they were about. Really sounded like she wanted to go home. The phone interview literally lasted 3 minutes. Afterwards I got an email stating I wasn't being considered anymore.
This was done unprofessionally. If she didn't want to do her job right than go work somewhere else. If I was being discriminated for not living in California than I can only imagine how many other people went through the same thing. I could have actually been a good candidate for the job if she would have done things correctly (more than likely probably better than who was picked).
I also had a friend who denied a job offer from them because they tried to pay him less than what he was making.
