The process was long but went relatively well. I interviewed with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, completed a sample project, met with the hiring manager again, and finally spoke with the VP and another communications manager. In the last round, I was told I didn’t provide enough detail in response to a follow-up question—which ultimately led to my rejection.
Making it through the entire process only to be eliminated over a single response felt questionable.
The recruiter encouraged me to keep Samsara in mind for future roles. When a position opened up, I reached out to the hiring manager (the same one from my previous interview) to express my interest. My email was never acknowledged. Samsara presents itself well, but my experience didn’t reflect the culture they promote.
