Application
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at SanDisk (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I had a phone screen with a gentleman whose name I never did correctly get. He asked good C/debugging questions, but he was very combative and when I asked if I could ask a question, I was told no and he continued to ask questions. I knew I only did so-so, but I never heard back from SanDisk. It must be a sweat shop. I'm glad I landed somewhere else.

Question 1
All the questions were technical. If I had just graduated from college, I would have been better prepared. So I asked if I could talk about some of my collaborative and successful experiences but the interviewer didn't want to be bothered with that.

Interview
I was asked technical questions most of which were not deep neither were specific.
They were mostly open ended questions which a suitably experienced person can answer without preparation. My tip is that you keep talking and they will take you if they feel like.
