Applied 2 years ago through website, never get an answer.
Tried again this year after discussing with a friend that work there.
Friend recommended me via their platform, no response for a month (more than the 3 weeks advertised),
I decided to apply myself through their site, get a response to schedule a call under a week.
Interview with HR, salary seems a bit low for a remote job and position, however I'm not familiar with the tech so negotiable on my side. Information about package was not clear.
Got send the technical assignment.
Assignment is to be done under 3 days (ok), but you should limit yourself to 3 hours to build an app, with: backend, database, frontend, dataviz and provide various user stories… The 3 hours limit is ridiculous IMHO
Submit technical assignment, got feedback under 4 days. I missed first HR call, get 2nd one but was scolded by recruiter about how I should manage my call and my answering machine! Note that said call was simply to let me know I succeed on the test and scheduling next interview… That's a nice touch to try to speak directly with candidate but if you can't reach them, leave a message or send an email.
Call with local manager was planned 2 days later, but last minute change, they invited to their office which is not far away. Good talk with manager, describe projects, team practices, how I could be on-boarded and learn the skill. Role is closer to lead than senior, and more technical too and confirm salary is low, which I put forward during the conversation. Interview continues on a good vibe.
Waited 6 weeks and got no reply.
Next step of the process is supposed to be a 3h interview including a 20min presentation of yourself, tech talk about project, discussion with a bunch of different people.
