They never followed up after a screening interview. They said they were busy and would follow up in the next week. Ended up being a waste of my time and their time
I met with a variety of people on the team that I'd work with. They held different roles in the development of the projects, structuring of proposals, and financing of projects.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked about why I'm motivated to do the work.
I was first interviewed by a member of the People Operations and Events team over the phone, then by my direct manager over the phone, and lastly by a series of three Sparkfund employees over video call. This video call interview consisted of an interview with a member of the Sales team, an interview with a member of the Marketing team, and an interview with my direct manager and the Senior Vice President of Marketing.
In every interview undertaken, I felt as though the company was really trying to get a sense of how well I would fit in with the rest of the company. The interviews were more about times I have demonstrated leadership qualities and my personality over prior experience I have had, as I didn't have much under my belt as a freshman in college.
