Spotify Web Engineer interview questions

At first I had a Skype interview with recruiter, then I had technical Skype Interview, he shared his screen and it was some code in JavaScript and asked me about the result of execution of code. (1.bind - 2.some lines to tell the order of execution including setTimeout, Promise, setTimeout in Promise, chain of Promise). Then, some CSS question about BoxModel, CSS Specificity. Then, an online code challenge to write a function and he asked about time complexity and memory complexity and how to make it better. The next step and the last, they send me an image which there were some button and with some explanation, they asked me to implement it in Html, CSS, and at the end he asked some question bout my code.

Recruiter call that was very straight forward, which led to setting up of a technical phone screen over a google hangout. It was a two on one interview where there were two devs talking to me. It started with CSS and Javascript trivia that worked its way up to pure Javascript trivia. They didn't touch on algorithms and data structures, but ymmv once they see this type of review. You will need to know about things like closures, javascript callstack, css box model, promises, and setTimeOut.
