Sprout Social Associate Software Engineer interview questions

The interview process at Sprout was unnecessarily long, with 5 or 6 rounds. It felt exhausting, repetitive, and time-consuming. Could definitely be more efficient. I expected a faster and more streamlined experience.

Singlehandedly one of the worst interview process I have ever gone through. A previous review noted pretty much my exact process that I had faced. Recruiters of a company with a worsening reputation and increasingly more volatile reorganizations/layoffs should not act like they're a big tech company--I've had recruiters at big tech companies with way more interviewees take time to respond to me. Sprout Social recruiters do not respond to emails at all, they are extremely unprofessional. I was told that I would know about my offer status a week or two after my interview--it ended up taking over 6 weeks for a rejection. System Design interviewers were two junior engineers that should not have any business of conducting a system design interview, or any interview whatsoever--especially if it ends up becoming more AI targeted. Coding interview was extremely easy and at least had some interested interviewers. Hiring Manager interview seemed alright.
