For those of you looking for information about the process I can tell you it can be an easy process but it does involve patience. I applied on 11/6 online by a referral from a family member, on 11/8 received an email stating "
Congratulations on successfully completing State Farm pre-employment assessment(s). Your results allow us to consider you further for the Claim Associate-Express position". Please note that I had already completed the pre-employment assessment within the last 12 months. On 11/13 I received an a time sensitive email requesting me to provide times I would be available for a phone interview. I provided about five different dates and times that fit my schedule. On 11/14 I was sent a confirmation email with my phone interview time. Had my phone interview with the recruiter. Pretty basic questions, STAR format, and she also went over the position as well as gave an opportunity to ask any questions you may have had. At the end of the call I was offered the position. No role play.
I will say this, I have a couple of family members that have worked for state farm and not to say that its impossible to get hired on with State Farm but having someone you know refer you to a position really does help as it codes your application differently. Good luck and execute some patience.
