The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Winter Haven, FL) in Jul 2011
Interview
No matter who your interviewing with in the company, they truley do care. If you made it that far (to the interview), then you've already earned their respect. Its not an easy company to get into, so be sure to do your research; i.e. about the company, QUALITY questions YOU can ask, etc., KNOW STATE FARMS MISSION STATEMENT!!!!!! Go to thier website and research the company. Basic KSA questions (if you dont know what KSA questions are I would suggest you not apply). The hiring process is question filled; they want to know EVERYTHING about you. DONT LIE on your resume because they hire a company called LexisNexis to do a THROUGH backround check on you (and its NOT just a criminal check!!). They look at EVERYTHING on your resume. Be honest, sincere, customer service oriented (in that company its all about the customer, or the "insured" as you'll get to know it). Customer service is a MUST as well as a 4 year degree. LOTS of competition within as most that are hired do not leave the company. Overall this is a VERY good company to work for. I am truley satisfied with my job.
