I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at State Farm in Aug 2014
Interview
Received e-mail, then call from a head hunter. Call lasted half hour, general chit-chat. When to store front met with Owner. Explained vision of the store, and what was expected. After our interview again hour an hour forty-five minutes, follow up with crew. Like that is was extremely important that all employees had to get along and have a good vibe. Went in for that interview. Again, I thought it went well until we hit a snag. I asked about snow days. Apparently that is the one day most needed in the office. That ended the interview process. In good faith I could not promise I could make it during a snow storm.

Question 1
None, very positive friendly. You would have to pass all the exams before you would become a full fledge member of the organization.
The interview was a Zoom meeting with other applicants in the meeting. It was extremely stressful the interview left me feeling overwhelmed. It was the first interview I have participated in that was more a talent search than going off of experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Louisville, KY) in May 2022
Interview
The interview was very personal and relaxed. The owner of this agency was very flexible, understanding, and kind. Definitely made me feel comfortable when sharing about myself and my experience.

The interview process is different for every agent. Some agent's want you to meet with their stuff and others just want you to meet with them. Fairly straightforward process with a focus on how you plan to produce.
