I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at State Farm (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2015
Interview
The interview process was quite painless. I applied online and then received an invitation to take an assessment. The assessment was broken down into two assessments. The first assessment was policies and procedures and background questions about my experiences. The second part consisted of simulations. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to complete. Two days later, I was notified that I did well on my assessments. That same day, I was contacted by a recruiter to set up an interview. The interview occurred the following day. At the beginning of the interview, the recruiter told me more about the position and confirmed my continued interest in the position. Then, I was asked various questions about my experiences and how I handled certain situations. I was asked to provide my answers in S.T.A.R format. After this portion, the interview told me that I did well. I was then offered a contingent job offer on the spot. There was no face-to-face interview. I accepted and then was emailed about the next steps of the process, which consisted of a drug screen and background check. It took about 4 days for the background/drug test process to be completed. Once I was notified that I passed, I was provided more information about what to expect my first day on the job.

Interview
I've interviewed with this company. Very straight forward process. Would recommend applying to this job. The steps depends on the recruiter the agency uses. Mainly over the phone interviews, video, and in person last.
I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Southaven, MS) in May 2026
Interview
It seems to be a very low base pay leading to sales. This was not something I am interested in for my career. I have had several interviews with state farm but very few offered benefits needed for my family.
Easy phone interview. Asked basic questions for the initial interview, was very fast and easy. Hear back in 48 hours. Was asked why I wanted the job, and how comfortable on a scale of 1-10 how comforatabke I was with sales
