The whole role is a scam, avoid it if you can. I interviewed for the role in the Calgary office where Telus offloaded hiring to a company called "The Acquisition group", there were two parts of the interview. The first part was a zoom presentation with 20+ people where they talked to us about the general aspect of what we would be doing and the general aspects of the job, later we were individually placed into breakout rooms were a manager would do a very short interview (5 mins) The second interview would be another zoom call with a manager and two other people (yourself included) this interview felt very predatory because the interviewer would ask a question and let the most enthusiastic person answer first and then would put the pressure on the second person to come up with a better answer. After about an hour each one would be separated into different breakout rooms and talk with the manager about next steps. This is the part where I received the offer. Reasons why I declined: - NO BASE PAY - Pyramid scheme way of progressing literal steps of progression: To advance from JR to SR you must sell 25 products in a week To advance from SR to Manager you must sell 125 products for two weeks in a row To advance from Manager to General Manager you must sell 250 products for two weeks in a row. After all of that is where you finally get a base pay of 1,000 CAD a month Avoid if possible
