They seemed nice and acted like they cared about what they’re doing.
I got the vibe that it’s utter chaos and no one knows what they’re doing. Everyone had meetings all day long from what I can tell. I didn’t talk to any developers with healthcare experience, which concerns me. It’s not just data, it’s real patients. I wouldn’t trust my data in their system.
I filled out their online assessment, pretending to be a patient so that I could learn their tools. Problem #1, they had no idea how to categorize medications. Problem #2, they’re supposed to call the patient back within 72 hours and they didn’t. If they can’t even get that most basic thing down, then it’s probably years and years away from being a functional product and it’s irresponsible to have a live website when dealing with this patient population.
Cool idea though, but I wouldn’t bet a job on it. I’d be scared of the company folding.
I didn’t see much diversity either in the tech team. Yawn.
Too bad because access to quality mental healthcare is a serious issue. I just doubt that this would be the place to get it.
