Tanium Technical Account Manager interview questions

Good. Multi phase - 1) Basic interview with manager 2) face to face with local sales rep 3) panel tech screening 4) Interview with VP 5) onsite interview at HQ with multiple parties including lead developer and CEO. The first interview with the manager I decided to take the approach of not answering his questions but describing how I do my job. This was lucky for me as I had just had to troubleshoot a difficult network issue and to fix it I was able to describe scripting on Solaris, doing packet captures and packet analysis, and scripting on windows all in the context of the same issue. This went over well. All the others I went in with Q&A and tried to understand what they wanted. Pannels are always tough as you can only guess and roll with the punches. VP - wasnt sure either but he was really more interested in my motivations to understand if I would put in the work needed for a startup and the HQ interviews were mostly around understanding WHAT Taniums goals are as a company and making sure I fit the culture.

The hiring process was very probably one of the best hiring experiences I've had in my career. The company recruiter and hiring manager were VERY informative and very responsive to any questions I had. They both also kept in touch during the hiring process to make sure that I had any information I needed and that all of my questions were answered. I will say that the technical screening was probably one of the hardest I have ever been through, but for good measure. Tanium is all about making sure the right people are working here and how you work under pressure. I wouldn't say the technical screen was a firing squad, but the people on the call asked intelligent questions and expected me to either know the answer, or explain that I did not and to answer as such. The work culture here is awesome, and the best I've worked in. Even through the interview process I could tell this was a work family, not just a bunch of individuals that happened to work together. The final part of the interview process was to go to Emeryville (corporate HQ) to do some in person interviews, including one with the CEO. I feel that was one of the best experiences of the process. The CEO has such a love for the company and really puts in the effort to make sure the best people are working here.
