I applied online. I interviewed at Tenable (Orlando, FL) in May 2021
Interview
Only got through phone screen with the recruiter before being eliminated but she did mention that this role has several steps (at least 4). Call was a complete waste of time as she very quickly mentioned the job requires JavaScript and that this might not be a good fit because of that requirement. However, that is not a typical job responsibility for this particular role. I thought it was in bad taste to tell me that on the call. If I didn't fit, then just send me a polite "no" later after the conversation ends. Don't tell me that right to my face as it puts my defenses up. Also, I didn't appreciate being told that my background would be presented to the hiring manager, then no sooner than I got off the phone, she had marked me "Not Selected" on Jobvite. Don't say things to string me along either. I won't consider this company again in the future based on how I was treated during this phone screen.
