I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Tesco (London, England) in Mar 2015
Interview
The interview took no more than an hour. We had group work on operational and strategic advice. The Interview had more than 10 people in one room with about 5 managers. It was hard to keep up with what everyone was saying because there were lots of people in a small room. The managers were nice all through the interview and gave you time to prepare for an answer.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Dundee, Scotland) in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied through search consultancy with my CvV. Had a telephone interview and an interview was arranged for the following day at 5pm. During the phone interview I was told that background checks would be made and would include a credit check. I asked why a credit check and was told all would be explained at the interview - it wasn’t and I forgot to ask about that. It was a group interview, there were 10 of us . We filled in forms, did a multiple choice spelling test (I didn’t have my glasses!) and were taken for a 1 to 1 interview in another room. The group had to work out a strategy for saving people from zombies. The whole process took over 2 hours. This was for a temp rolling 3 month contract on minimum wage. I received an email at TEN PM! a week later letting me know I’d been unsuccessful but due to the volume of applicants they were unable to give feedback.
