We were taken to the canteen and waited there for a few mins with the other interviewees and waited to be taken into another room. We were seated on a large table and I was prepared to have to do group exercises but we didn't have to. We are given forms to fill in (health and safety and availability) and we handed in our passports to be copied. Then the staff introduced themselves. There was two managers (one checkout and one f&f) and there was another guy but I don't think he told us his name. He went round the group asking for a brief introduction and then he asked us all questions. Then we were told we could go. Took around 45 mins.

Other Checkout Operator Interview Reviews for Tesco
Pretty easy process, nothing out of the ordinary. A few questions on how I would work through situation, deal with customers and other colleagues. People conducting the interview were friendly and polite.
The interview process for the Checkout Operator role at Tesco was very easy. You have to complete an online assessment first and they see if you will pass that. They then called me in and asked a few questions about myself, and asked about my availability, and just more general questions. It lasted around 30 minutes and then I was offered the job, later on in the same day. Very easy process.
