I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Holywell, Wales) in Apr 2015
Interview
A big group of 8 were interviewed at same time. We did a group task which was actually fun especially when it went wrong.
We had to introduce ourselves to the group but found the whole experience of being interviewed in a group really good.
We had to answer questions in front of everyone but they were usually directed at whole group.
Be aware it IS an interview and if you are going for a job with the public, if you can be open, friendly and helpful even tho you get split into teams, it will help get you noticed. Only saying this as I helped other team in task as we had completed ours and one girl said "Well if you can't solve the problem we've got don't bother". She didn't get the job..
Think it may be bigger deal one to one interview in first instance now (with Tesco), then group one to follow.
