I applied for the position at a local Tesco and received a phone call 2 weeks later in relation to an interview. I was interviewed by two women who were very friendly, which was comforting to me as I was only 17 at the time and it was one of my first interviews. Overall, I found the experience very positive and comfortable, and they allowed me to speak truthfully and at length about my own personal experience.

Quick and easy interview. Asked how to deal with customers and complaints including how to deal with certain situations e.g. shoplifting and refunds. Interviewer was very polite and to the point.

Application for the role was online. The interview process itself was a generic one, where I was asked a few competency and fit questions by a couple people from HR. This lasted around 30 minutes in total.
My interview experience at Tesco was incredibly positive! From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed and valued. The interviewers were friendly and approachable, immediately putting me at ease. They asked insightful questions about my previous experience and skills, genuinely interested in understanding how I could contribute to their team.
