Tesco Shop Assistant interview questions

there was a short informal chat with the manager one to one then some time on the shop floor facing up the shop with an assistant manager. whole interview lasted around 30 mins

After successfully completing the online application, I was called in for an interview. This was a group interview, which is never pleasant for me, fortunately there was only one other applicant turn up. Unfortunately she had a lot more experience than me. I was surprised to be asked back a few days later for an individual interview. This went well and I was asked to come back a third time for a work sample on the tills and stocktaking. This I duly did; they left me on the till for an hour and half on a Saturday afternoon! I was then told there was no time for the stock work sample and asked me come back a fourth time. [I had already been told I had passed the till one] So I went back a fourth time and spent an hour stock taking. I then received an email saying I had not got the job but please apply again for other positions!
