Overall everything apart from the video interview was quiet easy. BUt the questions asked in the interview was hard needs a lot of preparation. They wearent the standard competencies question,

Online games/ assessments followed by a Hire Vue interview to make it through the first stage.
6 questions but didn't ask any questions on knowledge of Tescos or why you want to work for them which was unusual...must ask those in the second stage.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (London, England) in Feb 2018
Interview
- Online application (UK)
- Online psychometric and situational judgement questions
- Video interview - 10 different questions, a minute to answer each one. Questions designed to assess different skills and knowledge that Tesco value and were majority competency based questions.
- Telephone interview - took around 20 minutes and was based on a short imaginary case study with a series of questions relating to the case. Technical knowledge was assessed with commercial awareness.
- AC - consisted of a presentation and a competency-based interview, an individual exercise, a group discussion and presentation exercise and an aptitude test. The assessment centre was very relaxed throughout the day, some parts were challenging but Tesco were very supportive throughout the whole experience.
