I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) in Nov 2014
Interview
Applied through Indeed, received a call about a month later, gave four references over the phone, which they called the next day. Called to check in after a couple of days and they scheduled me for an interview the following day. Interviewed, and though I actually was offered the job I hadn't gathered that from the interview. Lots of online training after that, which you don't get paid for. A background check and fingerprinting are also required, as well as a TB test. They have high child:teacher ratios, also struggle with communication and discipline.

Interview
Not very rigorous, pretty easy and laid back. Didn’t ask too many questions, didn’t really need too many qualifications, interested more in schedule and availability. Wage didn’t seem to be too high so not sure It I will take the job

Quite easy, no harder than the average interview. Everyone was courteous, professional and polite. I definitely would not mind interviewing with the company again. They asked insightful questions and was clear about the duties that come with the role I was applying for.
